Brought up by her zoologist parents on the African savanna, down-to-earth teenager Cady Heron (Lindsay Lohan) faces the most difficult challenge of all: high school. As she tries to find her place among her peers, Cady clashes with the fashionable Plastics clique, headed by queen bee Regina George (Rachel McAdams). She allows herself to join the Plastics so that she can spy on the popular kids, but before long, she starts to behave as badly as they do. Matters really start to heat up when Cady falls for Regina's ex-boyfriend. The queen bee is hurt to the core and devises a scheme to destroy Cady's social future.
